Indigo Blu card

Good morning all, I have made this card for the  IndigoBlu Blog Challenge Anything goes  .  I am staying with my daughter in Ireland and have used some of her stash.  I will be here for a few more weeks so I am sure I will be able to play with her lovely goodies a few more times.

I chose this beautiful Indigoblu Stamp from the poppycock stamp set, I stamped it twice and decoupaged it then i distressed the petals and leaves.  I coloured the flower with Tim Holtz distress ink, Victoria velvet.  The leaves are from the Live Laugh and Love stamp set coloured again with Tim Holtz distress ink, bundled sage.
For the background I have used IndigoBlu Sarah's Choice stamps, with T.H. Distress ink Hickory smoke.  Stamped on white card stock and mounted on a baby pink card and grey card.
I taped the edge of the card with low tack tape to achieve the white border.  I loved working with these stamps and think I will have to go on to make another card!

Thank you for passing by and looking at my blog

Baby Card

Good Morning all, I had a break from making Christmas cards and made this baby card for friends.  I cut this on my Silhouette Cameo and really enjoyed making this pretty sparkly card.  You can get the SVG cutting file by Amanda Davis from the link below.

Good Morning All.
I have been meaning to put a few cards on here for a while but as usual other things get in the way.
I made this card for my sisters Birthday in September. It's and 8x8 card and the decoupage is one of my favourites, cant think of the name of it at the moment but will put the detail of that on shortly.

Thank you for passing by and looking.

Happy 40th Birthday Claire.

Good Morning all.
This is one of my rare Blogging moments, I made this card for my daughter Helen to give to My elder daughters 40th Birthday Today,  I really enjoyed making this card lots of sparkle and pretty things.  The stamps i used were freebies from a magazine embossed with Hologram Super Sparkle embossing powder.  The white flowers and Butterfly are by Sarah Hurley,  The beautiful butterfly and bead charm was made by my daughter Helen.   I still make lots of cards but don't always get the time to photograph and blog them.  Where does all that time go when you are retired.!!

This second card i made with using the drawing facility on the Silhouette Cameo.  I love this machine and when they introduced the latest update I was a bit worried about doing it but so far so good.  This card is from Eddie and I for Claire's Birthday.  I really enjoyed doing both of these cards as they are for a very special person.  Mu daughter has a blog and designs for magazines you can find her blog  HERE

Thank you for passing by and looking.

Cards for a friend

A Friend asked me to make a few cards for her and here they are.  I am useless at keeping my blog up to date now, life seems to have taken over a bit.  I do still enjoy making cards and I am making something for someone or for my stash weekly.  I will try and put a few others on but I must admit I quite often forget to photograph what I make now.  They aren't the best photos I have taken, but I think they are adequate.  Hope you like them.

Thank you for passing by and looking and hope to see you again soon.

MDF tool caddy

Good Morning to you all, long time no see.  I keep meaning to update my blog, but then something crops up and I forget.  I made this tool caddy a few months ago and never got around to photographing it till this morning, it is showing signs of wear and tear now, we use it to put all the tv remote controls in with the theory that we won't lose them :-/.  I have quite a few cards that I can put on the blog too, but I tend to forget to photograph them as well.

Thank you for passing by and looking and for any comments left.
